To those in considering to stay in Lima:
If you are coming through Lima to enter or leave the country or just transiting to another area in Peru, we highly recommend that you stay at Kokopelli Hostal in Miraflores Lima. This hostal is surfer friendly, has an amazing vibe, great staff, lots to do and offers free storage of surfboards when you stay and want to go to Cuzco for a couple of days for example. Room rates are very reasonably priced at between 30-33 soles a night and even offer one night free if you stay for 5 nights!! check out there website for more info.
Lobitos Surf Natural:
Located in New Lobitos, Lobitos Surf Natural is mainly constructed using mature bamboo and is only a short walk to the main breaks. Several spacious, fresh rooms with sprung mattresses are available and more are on the way.

Centrally located within Lobitos and the majority of surf spot are very close, you can see most of them from this location!! Nachos has been around for quite a while and many of your friends who have come to Lobitos have probably stayed here. This place is a great place to relax whilst not surfing and meet lots of fellow surf travellers from all over the world.

Los Muelles surf camp has been around for several years and is well established amongst backpacking surf travellers visitng Lobitos. Candelo Surf is strategically located on a hill over looking the point & luckys surf spots in Lobitos, quite literally you will sit in your room and be able to watch the waves all day and listen to them all night! This place has just changed ownership and got a much deserved refurbishment.

Aitama Hotel
Beachfront hotel & restaurant is located just in front of the point surf spot in Lobitos and is owned by a Basque/Peruvian couple. There is one guest house with two rooms that would be ideal for a family and another house that has two rooms with bunk beds.
